This proposal was featured on Amor Latino Unveiled!
Miriana, Fernando, and six of their closest friends were in Vail for a ski trip. Fernando asked their good friend, Paula, to help with the proposal because she used to live in Vail. She knew she needed help, so she hired us!
We chose Mami’s Deck for the proposal because it has the best view, and it’s a hidden gem that only the locals know about! It was a long journey, up two chair lifts, shlepping all of our stuff on skis and snowboards to the deck, but it was worth it!
While we were busy setting up, Miriana, Fernando, and their friends enjoyed skiing. Paula was already the tour guide for everyone since she was the only one that knew her way around, so it wasn’t suspicious when she led the group to the deck. Miriana was like ” We can’t be here, this is someone’s engagement party!” She was so surprised when she realized it was hers!

Then they had an amazing lunch catered by Splendido with caviar, delicious seafood, and desserts. Splendido is one of the best restaurants in the valley. It’s where I go on my birthday! I was so excited (and a little surprised) when they wanted to be a part of this crazy engagement!
Mami’s deck is a popular local’s spot, and I kept them away as long as I could, but there were some party crashers at the end! They added to the fun!
