Sarah and Chris’ wedding was literally perfect! I loved being their planner!
GETTING READY
The ladies got ready at The Sebastian, and the guys got ready in a condo in Vail Village. These invitations by Mesh by Alex were some of the prettiest I’ve ever seen, and the photographer, Stephanie with Mockingbird lane, did such a good job photographing them. After everyone was ready, Sarah had a first look with her bridesmaids.
Then she had a first look with her parents. Then Sarah and Chris had their first look, and got on the gondola for mountain top photos. The ceremony was beautiful. There’s a fantastic view from Larkspur! The setup was so elegant. Rose Petals Vail always makes it so pretty. Palladio String Quartet is my favorite, and they were fabulous. This was my first time working with ceremony painter, Julia, and now I think she should be at all my weddings. After the ceremony we did some wedding party photos. Then everyone enjoyed cocktail hour. I’ve never seen Larkspur’s dining room look so good! I loved all the copper in the room, with the classic green and white, and velvet linens. So unique and cool! Sarah and Craig had their grand entrance into the reception, cut the cake, and then Sarah’s dad did a welcome speech. The favors were copper shot glasses, and instead of a champagne toast, everyone took a shot! Then everyone enjoyed dinner. Larkspur’s food is so good! Jeff D’amico with Vail DJs kept the party going all night! After the reception they had a fiber optic wand sendoff. We would have done sparklers, but we were in a fire ban.KIND WORDS FROM THE MOTHER OF THE BRIDE
I tell everyone that hiring Stephanie was the best money that we spent in the entire wedding budget. She made my daughter’s wedding day run seamlessly and was helpful in every way in the lead up. She is enthusiastic and kind while getting things done! We couldn’t have asked for more.
