I recently had the privilege to work at David Tutera’s, “Your Wedding Experience” wedding show in Atlanta. All of Atlanta’s best vendors were under one roof showcasing their products and services. Even Cake Boss Buddy Valastro was there! There were presentations by experts sharing tips and trends, and a fabulous fashion show featuring The David Tutera for Mon Cheri line.
I had such a wonderful experience, and I got to see all of the up and coming trends that we can look forward too!

Personalized Sweetheart Tables
The sweetheart table should stand out, and reflect the couple’s
personal style. This particular sweetheart table was inspired by the bride’s china patter, and it won the table design contest at the show!
Textured Table Cloths
Every single table cloth was textured!
Soft Colors paired with Metallics
Colors like aquamarine, and strawberry ice… a tad more vibrant than pastels. Lots of sequins!
The Dresses
One of my jobs at the show was to help the mo
dels in and out of the dresses fast, so they could make their way down the runway. I got to see all of the gorgeous dresses up close and personal! The David Tutera for Mon Cherie Collection is so elegant with luxurious fabrics, and they are surprisingly affordable! The models in the fashion show were all different shapes and sizes, and they all looked absolutely stunning in the dresses.
Rustic Elegance
As a wedding planner in Vail many of my clients want a rustic wedding because that’s so Colorado! 
We need to figure out how to do rustic in a trendy way! Think outside the box, mix in some modern elements or make the burlap colorful. I love what they did with the bark, and I can’t wait to incorporate Aspen bark into upcoming event designs!
